Creating a Workplace that Embraces Neurodiversity
Neurodivergence is common. But most schools and processes aren’t designed with neurodivergent people in mind. This can create all kinds of barriers that stop neurodivergent people from contributing fully at work. It also stops their schools from making the most of the positive impact neurodiversity can have. This training course will help you define neurodivergence, the positive impact it can have and how to create a more inclusive school.

- Define neurodivergence and the importance of clear policies and practices in the workplace to maintain an inclusive school environment
- Explain how neurodiversity can positively impact a school, and how to maximise this
- Suggest key elements of improvement to the school's practices to continually improve the working environment for everyone

Who is this course for
This online training course will help you define neurodiversity in schools and understand the importance of clear policies and practices in schools. You’ll be able to explain how neurodiversity can impact the school and suggest key ways to improve practices.
It’s estimated that around 15% of people are neurodivergent. It’s likely that many of your colleagues are neurodivergent, too. That’s why everyone can benefit from learning more about neurodiversity and how to remove the barriers to inclusion that neurodivergent people sometimes encounter.
